How does it work?
The bot is simple to use, as we provide a step-by-step guided process that mirrors the Instant Pledge functionality available on the HYVE platform. We wanted to ensure a smooth transition for existing users while opening the doors to new ones.
Here's how it works:
- initiate the flow by typing /start in the Telegram chat: this command launches the bot's interactive escrow setup process. If you encounter any issues, the /help command provides guidance.
- provide essential information about the escrow account, such as: whether you’re the payer or receiver, a brief description of the escrow purpose (e.g., project milestone, service payment), or the number of revisions and delivery time for services rendered.
- next, you will have to select your payment details: the blockchain and token for payment and the amount of tokens to be transferred.
- finalizing escrow: users input wallet addresses for both the payer and receiver. (the bot allows you to review all the provided information before confirming)
- the bot generates a secure link for the escrow account, shared directly in the Telegram chat: this link can be easily forwarded to your transaction counterpart for them to complete their part of the process.
Why did we create this feature?
The need for this feature came from a clear demand for more accessible and convenient ways to manage blockchain-based transactions. While our platform already offers robust solutions like Escrow Now, we recognize that users often require simpler, on-the-go tools that fit into their daily routines. This is especially true for freelancers, clients, and businesses who need to create secure escrows without being tied to a desktop platform.
