New Token Integration: $GRT is now part of HYVE’s ecosystem!
Happy (almost) holidays, HYVERS! After celebrating the HYVE Platform’s first anniversary, we are casually entering peak pumpkin spice season. This week we are all about integrating tokens to be thankful for, so let’s give a shout out to The Graph, an indexing protocol for querying data for networks like Ethereum, powering many applications in both DeFi and Web3 ecosystems. We are telling you, if you are into indexing blockchain data, The Graph is your savior because let’s face it, this job is tough and there’s nobody better than The Graph to do it!
The Graph is where you start your blockchain journey
The Graph is a decentralized protocol for indexing and querying data from blockchains such as Ethereum (there you have it, this project plays in the highest professional league!). What does The Graph bring to the table? Briefly put, it makes your life easier if you want to query any kind of data from projects with smart contracts big and small, such as Uniswap or even NFT collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club on the Ethereum blockchain.
For example, let’s say you absolutely love these stylish monkeys from Bored Ape Yacht Club: The Graph performs useful read operations on the contract like getting the content URI of an NFT based on its ID, the total supply of the owner, each NFT’s provenance and so forth. In case you were wondering, the answer is yes; we are as stunned as you.
In addition, querying blockchain properties like finality, chain reorganizations, or uncles blocks are all solved by The Graph and its decentralized protocol that indexes and enables the performant and efficient querying of blockchain data.
Utilizing $GRT in The Graph Network?
Nothing and no one ensures better security than The Graph Network and the integrity of data being queried than $GRT, the utility work token of The Graph! Participants use and stake the token as it is used for a variety of purposes, such as allocating resources in the network, paying for queries, and rewarding participants.
Active Indexers, Curators, and Delegators can provide value and earn rewards in The Graph Network, proportional to the amount and type of work they perform. Indexers run indexing nodes in The Graph Network, serving queries to individuals who seek to access blockchain data. Curators identify subgraphs—open source GraphQL APIs that organize blockchain data—that are useful and therefore worthy of being indexed by Indexers. Delegators delgate
If you are earning $GRT by participating in The Graph Network, do not forget us! Now there’s a new use case for your $GRT—paying for services at HYVE! Or, if you’re providing services, HYVE has just unlocked another stream of $GRT that you can put to use in The Graph Network as an Indexer, Curator, or Delegator. Add it to your wallets and start using on our platform after you scroll down for the contract address:

News about HYVE…
We have some exciting news for you: we are working on redesigning our website. Our new landing page came live in Q1 of 2022. Still, we want to give even more of an improved look and feel, highlighting the evolving nature of HYVE and freelancing in general.
You thought the token integrations were over you? Well as we are heading into winter, we have around 10 more tokens planned across the next couple of weeks! Make sure to keep an eye out on our social media channels over the next couple of weeks.
