The First Era represents a significant milestone in our platform's development, introducing a new range of enhancements that boost usability, increase functionality, and prepare the way for more advancements. The main goals of these extensive updates are to tie all loose ends and provide a solid framework for upcoming HYVE versions.

This comprehensive update aims to improve the user experience overall by making the platform more approachable and intuitive, highlighting how important it is to have a solid foundation that can sustain further development and propel HYVE at the forefront of freelancing and collaboration. Today we're doing a checklist of the implemented features, as our work continues towards finalizing the First Era.

The First Era was important, as it would introduce the most features. In short, we would fix all loose ends, while introducing new platform functionalities, acting as a building block for future HYVE versions.

Below is a short list of the features we committed to building for this Era of Development.

Dev Update 2

The second update continues to drive HYVE forward with the introduction of two significant features, further solidifying its commitment to improving user experience and platform functionality. These advancements not only address current user needs but also set the stage for future innovations, strenghtening HYVE’s position as a leading platform in the industry.

With a focus on smooth integrations and user-centric features, our second update release is laying a solid foundation for future growth and functionality. These additions aim to simplify workflows, enhance user accessibility, and improve the overall functionality of the platform.

The Telegram Bot allows users to manage escrows conveniently through any device that supports Telegram, while WalletConnect integration offers effortless wallet connectivity, supporting over 500 wallets for a more inclusive user experience.

  • Telegram Bot: The Telegram Bot allows users to create and manage secure escrow accounts directly through the Telegram app. This feature enhances convenience and flexibility, enabling users to handle transactions on the go from any device that supports Telegram.
  • WalletConnect Integration: The integration of WalletConnect's Web3 Modal library simplifies the onboarding process by supporting over 400 different wallets. This broad compatibility ensures that users can easily connect their preferred wallets to the HYVE platform, making it more accessible and user-friendly.

Instant Pledge & User Directory

We introduced new features in June that continue to show the commitment of HYVE as a pioneering and dynamic platform in the freelancing landscape, as these enhancements are designed to simplify processes, improve interaction, and significantly enrich the overall platform experience.

While the Instant Pledge system guarantees that financial transactions are managed with the highest level of security and simplicity, which is crucial for fostering trust and reliability within the HYVE community, the User Directory enhances networking capabilities, facilitating an easier process for users to locate and connect with the appropriate professionals.

  • Instant Pledge - we have expanded our Escrow Account functionality, by introducing the Escrow now functionality. This allows clients and freelancers to create a secure escrow for payment, backed by a smart contract, allowing them to settle payments using our cross-chain infrastructure.
  • User Directory - a comprehensive user database, that allows you to browse and find out more information on clients, companies and freelancers. We have also introduced comprehensive filtering options, allowing you to easily find freelancers, based on education, skills and other differentiators.

Dev Update 1

Our First Dev Update focused on the listing-related improvement of the platform's UI/UX, as we eliminated redundancies and implemented listing related features.

  • Listing Analytics - All listings now benefit from their dedicate analytics, providing valuable insights into how many applicants there are for a job 0r how many clients have purchased the services of an offer. The use case for this varies from tracking performance and identifying trends to making data-driven decisions to optimize their listings and improve engagement. By understanding the dynamics of their listings, users can refine their strategies and enhance their offerings, leading to better outcomes and increased satisfaction.
  • Merger of Tasks and Jobs - We combined the two elements in one single listing type, as we aimed to reduce confusion and create a more streamlined experience for collaboration. This merger simplifies the process of posting and managing work opportunities, ensuring a unified and efficient workflow. By eliminating the distinction between Tasks and Jobs, we aim to make it easier for users to navigate the platform, find relevant opportunities, and engage in productive collaborations, therefore providing a more cohesive and intuitive interface.
  • Listing Type: Public / Private - Users can now differentiate between the type of listing and assign viewing rights to those they want to be able to apply to their listing. By allowing users to tailor the visibility of their listings, we ensure that sensitive information is protected and that opportunities are targeted to the right audience, improving the quality of applications and collaborations.
  • UI/UX Improvements - We implemented several bug fixes and several feature enhancements, as we aim to increase usability and improve user adoption by creating a simple, yet intuitive experience. Our goal is to create a simple, yet intuitive experience that meets the needs of our users. These improvements include refining the interface, enhancing navigation, and ensuring that the platform is responsive and user-friendly.
  • Simplification of existing flows - This is a continuous process which has already started. Most of the workflows from the platform will be streamlined, removing unnecessary steps, creating a much easier process for all platform-related items. By continuously evaluating and optimizing workflows, we strive to create a more efficient and user-friendly process for all platform users.

When to expect more updates

Our Dev Team is currently working on implementing the final features of the First Era. Soon, we will have the Activity Log, as well as a strong invoicing system that would enable freelancers to reduce their administrative work and immediately send bills to their clients, all integrated within the HYVE Platform. In addition, we're working on marketing and future partnership announcements.
