As 2024 came to a close, HYVE celebrated a year marked by transformation, innovation, and community-driven growth. From enhancing platform functionality to expanding our blockchain ecosystem and introducing tools that simplify and elevate the freelancing experience, last year has been a testament to our commitment to creating a decentralized future for work.

HYVE is evolving - an overview

In 2024, HYVE embarked on a transformative journey, meticulously outlined in our updated roadmap, which is structured into three distinct eras: the First Era, Second Era, and Third Era, covering 18 months of development updates.

Each focuses on specific areas aimed at enhancing our platform, expanding our ecosystem, and empowering our community.

Implemented Features: Elevating the HYVE Experience

With the updated roadmap completed, it was time to unveil some of the newly promised and innovative features. Some were designed to streamline workflows, others to enhance user experience, but all have the ultimate goal to expand the platform's capabilities and create a smooth experience for creators and freelancers.

Here's an overview of the key developments that defined HYVE's growth:

Platform Enhancements

• Featured Notifications
  We started 2024 by introducing a much-needed feature - a notification system that would enable freelancers to be up to date with all their platform interactions. Thus, once a solution has been accepted by a client, received funds in the platform's wallet or you have been selected for a job, you will find out in real time thanks to our new live notification system.

This year we resolved to tie all loose ends and improve what was already built in 2023, as we are currently in the Wrap-Up Phase for HYVE V2.5. For those of you who are new to this, well in our latest roadmap, we decided to focus on incrementally improving

• Fresh Look and New Design
  One of the most visually impactful changes was HYVE’s complete platform redesign. This "fresh look" introduced a simpler interface, making navigation more intuitive and visually appealing. We simplified the landing page, so that information is easily accessible. By reducing the number of buttons, we ensured a better navigation of the platform and created an overall smoother experience.

  To simplify user workflows, we merged 'Tasks' and 'Jobs' into a single listing type, reducing complexity for both freelancers and clients. This change ensures that creating, managing, and browsing opportunities is more straightforward and efficient.
• Simplified Offer Creation Flow
  Following the unification of listings, we realized that the process for creating an offer was quite cumbersome and was recently simplified in our latest development update. Now professionals can provide their services much easier than before.
• Listing Analytics
  HYVE empowered users with actionable data by introducing analytics for all listings. This feature provides valuable insights, such as tracking applicants and engagement, enabling better decision-making.

New Functionalities

• Crypto Invoicing System
  The introduction of the Crypto Invoicing System was a game-changer for financial transactions on the platform. Freelancers and clients can now create professional invoices directly on chain, supporting over 200 cryptocurrencies. This feature ensures fast, secure, and transparent payments while enhancing the professionalism of web3 freelancing and reducing administrative work for freelancers.

  Networking became easier than ever with the launch of the User Directory. This tool allows users to browse profiles of freelancers, clients, and companies, using advanced filters like skills and education to find the perfect match. You can now easily browse the entire database of HYVE users easily, with the feature to be expanded in the coming months.
• Enhanced User Profiles
  A detail user profile is a freelancer's business card. Within the last year, we improved the individual user profile cards, so that freelancers and creators can tell a compelling story for their experience. Every relevant piece of information can be accessible in one's user profile, allowing you to stand out in front of prospective clients and employers.

• User Roles
  We recently introduced new user roles, a feature designed to enhance clarity and structure within the platform. Users now start with the default role of freelancer, but roles such as creator, and worker can be earned or selected based on platform activity.
• Activity Log
  Transparency was further improved with the Activity Log feature, which tracks user interactions such as job applications, profile updates, and job completions. This ensures that users stay informed about their activity and progress and provides full traceability over what happens on HYVE.

With these updates, HYVE continues to pave the way for a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly freelancing ecosystem.

Partnerships: Strengthening the HYVE Ecosystem in 2024

2024 was a pivotal year for HYVE as we established strong partnerships that expanded our ecosystem and reinforced our commitment to delivering value to our users. Our partnerships can be categorized into Token Integrations, Blockchain Integrations, and Others, each playing a unique role in enhancing the HYVE platform and fostering further adoption.

Token Integrations

Token integrations have been crucial in ensuring ultimate choice for users in terms of payment, as now HYVE supports well over 200 cryptocurrencies. We'll present two of the significant tokens we welcomed into to our ecosystem:

1. $IXS Integration
   We partnered with IX Swap to integrate $IXS, empowering HYVE users with access to liquidity solutions for tokenized real-world assets. This collaboration bridges the gap between traditional finance and decentralized finance, opening new doors for our community.
2. $CX Integration
   The integration of $CX, the native token of ChartAI, brought advanced AI-powered charting tools to HYVE. This partnership is a game-changer for freelancers and clients looking for sophisticated technical analysis and trading tools.

Blockchain Integrations

Expanding our blockchain infrastructure remained a priority in 2024, as we surpassed 15 supported networks, enabling a stronger . Here’s how we strengthened our platform with strategic blockchain integrations:

1. KuCoin Community Chain
   HYVE began the year with a major milestone by deploying on the KuCoin Community Chain (KCC). This integration enhanced cross-chain compatibility and further solidified our collaboration with KuCoin.
2. Blast Network
   HYVE became the first Web3 job market to integrate into the Blast Network ecosystem. This partnership utilized Blast’s Layer 2 Ethereum solution, adding greater flexibility to the HYVE platform.
3. Metis Integration
   By integrating with Metis, a Layer 2 Ethereum Rollup, HYVE improved scalability and reduced transaction costs, making the platform even more efficient for our users.
4. Fuse Network
   Our partnership with Fuse Network unlocked low-cost Web3 payment options, ensuring a smoother financial experience for freelancers and clients alike.
5. Base Integration
   Joining Coinbase’s Layer 2 solution, Base, marked another leap forward in our journey. This integration provided fast and secure transactions while leveraging the robust Ethereum ecosystem.
6. XDC Network Integration
   With XDC Network, an enterprise-grade Layer 1 blockchain, HYVE expanded its capabilities to handle high-volume, scalable transactions with unmatched efficiency.

Other Partnerships

Beyond tokens and blockchains, HYVE also partnered with innovative companies to bring unique features and opportunities to our ecosystem:

1. daGama Partnership
   Aimed at enriching the experience for digital nomads, our collaboration with daGama provided authentic travel recommendations tailored for freelancers, enhancing their global lifestyle.
2. GRACE Partnership
   Partnering with GRACE introduced an innovative data transmission solution to our platform, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity for our growing user base.
3. TRL Partnership
   Our alliance with The Real Lifestyle (TRL) was a major step toward property tokenization. By integrating TRL’s native token, $TRLCO, we’ve made flexible housing solutions accessible for our community, further bridging the gap between Web3 and real-world applications.

Community

In February 2024, HYVE achieved a significant milestone with the listing of the HYVE token on ProBit Exchange, a globally recognized cryptocurrency exchange. This development was a game-changer for our community, as it significantly enhanced the accessibility of the HYVE token to a wider audience, including ProBit’s extensive user base.

Not even halfway through Q1 and we are already making some major moves! In our comprehensive roadmap article, we promised that the $HYVE token would get more exposure in international markets, especially as our objective is to target new geographies and raise awareness of the HYVE Ecosystem. The ProBit listing brought HYVE to the forefront of new markets, enabling more freelancers, clients, and crypto enthusiasts to participate in our ecosystem with no fees.

To celebrate this achievement, we launched an engaging campaign, featuring token giveaways and exclusive rewards for early ProBit users trading HYVE. The listing also provided additional liquidity for the HYVE token, making it more versatile for various use cases within and beyond our platform.

Throughout 2024 we have been very active and transparent with our development plans, as we hosted various AMAs together with our partners. In early 2024 we presented our plans for the upcoming year in an AMA with KuCoin, through a brief overview on what new features will be implemented and the overall steer for HYVE.

Over the year, we engaged in many discussions with our partners in Spaces, promoting our web3 collaborative ecosystem. Our partners have leveraged HYVE's infrastructure to find and hire talent, highlighting the trust they have in our infrastructure and outreach for professionals. In addition, we were present at various events and web3 conferences, sharing ideas and knowledge with like-minded professionals and thought leaders in the space.

Lastly, we are quite thankful for our community. Our supporters continuously engage in promoting HYVE in diverse communities and forums, ensuring a wider reach and fostering the adoption of web3 freelancing.

What next in 2025?

While 2024 was a year of planning and building, in 2025 we will focus more on innovation and implementation of the subsequent development eras.

For starters, we are working on a new collaboration model to be implemented, as well as the AI Agents Marketplace. The idea is to introduce an already working model that can be altered and empower freelancers with additional sources of income. In addition, we are working on a gaming items marketplace, which will allows gamers to monetize their talents and sell digital collectibles for crypto, using HYVE's infrastructure and low-fee model.
